Honor System Rejected.
The question of adopting the honor
system in examinations in the Yale Law
School, which was brought up by the
students early in the year, and which has
been discussed at several meetings of the
students and Faculty of the School, was
finally settled negatively by the Faculty
at a meeting May 28. There was con-
siderable opposition to the plan and it
was judged best to continue the old one,
for the present at least.

Fence Orations.
A misunderstanding has prevailed in
regard to the action of the Faculty on
the subject of fence orations. The
Faculty, at a recent meeting, decided to
punish the Class of 1903 for its part in
the Dewey Day celebration by cutting
off the fence orations only for this year.
The custom was not abolished.
