CLELAND, R. S. KiILpourne. ——— YALE OBITUARIES. REV. JOHN WOODBRIDGE BIRCHMORE, "46. Rev. John Woodbridge ‘Birchmore, 46, died at his home in North Cam- bridge, Mass., Wednesday, March 21, 1QOO. Mr. Birchmore was born February 14, 1822, at Charlestown, Mass., where his father was a surgeon in the United States Navy Yard. He fitted at An- dover and after receiving his degree at Yale, spent two years teaching in Vir- ginia. He then studied for the minis- try and was ordained a deacon by Bishop Brownell, of Connecticut, at Middletown, his first work being that of a missionary in Millville, Mass. He has had charge of numerous parishes in the New England States since that time, Since 1893 he has been an assistant in ag James’ Church, North Cambridge, ass. WILLIAM HENRY FERRY, ’68. William Henry Ferry, ’68, was struck by a train at Lake Forest, Ill., Sunday, March 4, and instantly killed. He had been spending the day in Lake Forest, and, returning to Chicago, accidentally stepped in front of an express train. Mr. Ferry was born in Utica, N. Y., May 15, 1845.
