The Yale Club.
The first Club night of the season will
be held at the Clubhouse, Friday, Nov.
17, at 9 Pp. M. The meeting will be
addressed by Russell H. Chittenden,
Ph.D., Director of the Sheffield. Scien-
tific School, and refreshments will be
served.
The Harvard-Princeton debate this
year will be held at Cambridge, on De-
cember 16. The subject will be: “Re-
solved, That the English claims in the
controversy with the South African Re-
public are justifiable.” Princeton will
choose her side of the subject on No-
vember 12.
A naphtha launch has recently been
loaned to the University Crew man-
agement by Mr. W. W. Skiddy, ’6s S.,
for the use of coaches in the early
Spring practice. The launch is very
swift and is especially adapted to this
class of work.
