Russians, who ought to be credited with some ex- perience in cold weather, have generally declared for linen un- derwear. Read what some of the most eminent dermatologists of the country have said about the advantages of Linen. Dei- mel Linen-Mesh is queer stuff and costs a bit, sure enough, but it is magnificently endorsed by intelligent people who have tried it. CHASE & CO. New Haven House Block. Greetings from Abroad. The first Academic Faculty meeting of the Fall term was held last week. The interesting feature of the meeting was the presence in the chair of Dean Henry B. Wright of the Academic Faculty. Dr. Arthur T. Hadley, President of the University, sat with the regular members of the Faculty. Hitherto the President of the University has always presided at Faculty meetings of the Academic Department. The change emphasizes the University idea and also the plan of the administration to place the par- ticular affairs of each department undef that department’s own care, reserving matters of general University interest and policy to the University Council, at which the President will preside.
