After the games, the Yale and Har- vard men proceeded to their London headquarters, the Hotel Victoria on Northumberland avenue, Trafalgar Square. In the evening a dinner was tendered the American and English athletes by the Queen’s Club, at the About one hundred and twenty sat down, and among the guests were scores of prominent former ath- letes from the four Universities. The dinner was an excellent one and the competitors of the day seemed not in the least reluctant to bring to a close their long and tedious period of train- ing.
