The hall was decorated with palms, ferns and other potted plants massed on either side of the doorway, around the musician’s gallery and at the stair- ways leading up on to the stage. The side walls were draped with wild All Over. The Prom is gone for an- other year. A large class flag was hung above the stage and four smaller ones over the mirrors. The oars of last year’s Freshman crew were also hung on the walls. The favors were made by Mrs. Collins of New York City, and were arranged about the fireplace where the patronesses were seated. The pat- ronesses were: Mrs. H. L. Hotchkiss; Mrs. W. L. Phelps, and Mrs. Ring of New Haven; Mrs. A. C. Hord of Cleveland and Mrs. Riggs of New York City. The favors consisted of orna- mented staffs, sachet bags, distaffs, and sachets for the ladies; whistles, fancy pipes, Japanese heads, and horse shoes for the gentlemen. In addition to these there were souvenir book marks of sil- ver with the Class numerals engraved on them and engraved silver paper cut- ters, the former for the ladies and the later for the gentlemen.
